Leah & Richard are very, very cool people. Leah is an extremely talented artist. Richard (aka Rick aka Lucci) wears a viking hat with braids (not every day). They both love Space Cases. That said, it should not surprise you to hear that their super-casual, outdoor wedding ceremony started with this line from The Princess Bride:

We went back to their place for dresses, makeup & a quick dog-walking. The window lighting in her studio space is incredible – I could have spent all day shooting there. As an added treat, I got to take a look at some pieces I commissioned from her. [I highly recommend her!]
Their wedding had a definite eclectic flavor – combining Asian details, Jewish tradition (you’ll see), an unscripted ceremony and random, colorful accents. Oh, and LOTS of high-fiving!

The wedding was, as my boyfriend (who prior to this had only met Leah & Lucci once and still got a little teary-eyed) said, was the most sincere ceremony he’d ever been to. I know I spent a great deal of simultaneously crying and cracking up.
